Villa Clara is a historical province of Cuba located in the center of the country. It is composed of 13 municipalities: Manicaragua, Santo Domingo, Quemado de Güines, Corralillo, Cifuentes, Encrucijada, Camajuaní, Placetas, Santa Clara, Caibarién, Remedios, Sagua la Grande and Ranchuelo.
The main city of the province is Santa Clara, the provincial capital. This city is known for being one of Cuba's main tourist centers.
The province also boasts some of Cuba's best beaches, including the beach of Cayo Ensenachos. This beach of crystal-clear waters is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the province.
